glorious! glorious!

I did great last night! For a minute, it looked like we might get rained out, but just in time the clouds broke....hooray! And i looked darn cute, too! :) As I walked off the field, the USA baseball rep said, “We really ought to come to some sort of long term arrangement with you. You’re the best anthem singer we’ve had out here.” Oh happy day!

In other news, I have got to stop my "woe is me" party. This is sort of like a pity-party, but there is nothing around here to "pity" - i am just full of ennui & a general sort of malaise/depresssion. Surprisingly, this is not as much fun as it sounds. I have a big & fun month, but can hardly summon the energy to look at my calendar. This is not cool, people. I will have to instigate some personal wellness disciplines, i think....from going to bed earlier to reading for my heart to the discipline of unselfishness. I have got to get beyond myself! This is a very tricky thing to do!!! *sigh* Just when I think I've got life figured out... being a 'grown up' is a lot harder than i thought it would be....

I don't know why you are always so down on yourself--you are one of the most fabulous people I know!

Wow, I guess there isnt any clearer "You rocked" than wishing you were their permanent Anthem-Girl (maybe you could wear a cape...). Though I still think spontaneous combustion would have had a nice flair to it. Way to go!

Glad you enjoyed yourself last night! I struggle with being a grownup too! It's all so new to me- like I had to get my own insurance and car insurance and something called an IRA . . .. AHH!! It can be so hard and I don't even have the kids and husband to worry about!

not surprised that other people are finding your great talents, but with the great highs comes great lows, it's always harder to see yourself in the dark of those lows. but i still see you.love krii

Of course you did well! But it's the Elijah syndrome, defeat the prophets, get a crazy queen after you.
Don't fall into the depression babe, we're all here fo you :)
And being an adult? I love it way more than being a kid! I can have ice cream ANYTIME I WANT!
