oh, dear.

where have all the commentors gone? i've tried birds, politics, making fun of myself, serious posts... *sigh*. i guess it's the price i pay for reading all of your blogs without commenting. karma. (blogma?)

Well, Rachel, it started when you wouldn't get a dog, and then "i watched obama... and i found myself (again) impressed" nauseated me (mostly b/c I work with someone who actually believes the whole "hope and change" nonsense). But I'll do better - you're one of the very few bloggers remaining!

thank you. thank you for leaving your comment. and for the record, it's curtis who won't let me get a dog. so don't lay that one on me.

Well, you commented on my blog, so I'll comment on yours. How did you find my blog, anyway? It's always interesting to see who shows up on there.

I'm aware that Marilyn's story isn't about how she is amazing. I've heard a few bits and pieces of it here and there, but a VERY few. Are you her daughter? If so, I guess I'll be meeting your brother in Oregon. I'm from there and Marilyn wants me to take them something when I go back over Thanksgiving. It will be fun to meet them, and I can't wait to kiss the ground of Portland!. Anyway, that's a bit random, but whatever. ;)

I find this odd that I'm having a conversation with someone between blog comments. But I also find it humorous:)

Will you be recorded? I'd be interested in hearing what you say. Does the church do podcasting?

Too bad I'm not here for Thanksgiving--well, too bad for you (I'm stoked to go home!). But I can't afford to go home for Christmas break, so I'll be around if you come over for that holiday. I will be gone Christmas Eve and most of Christmas day, but should be back by that evening. So you can meet me then if you're around. I love meeting new people, and Marilyn's awesome, so her kids must be great too! :)

By the way, if you really do want to meet me, I'm not leaving until early Sunday, so if you're here earlier than that, I'm just hanging out on the Asbury campus. Which is always endless excitement. Uh....

I would love to get a copy of it if it is not recorded.

I can imagine you feel stuck. These things are not easy to speak about, especially when it's in a large group context. Blessings on working it out!

hahaha, rob :) it's "hope-nosis" at it's best. but seriously, i will pray for him as i do for all the others.

but as for never commenting, for some reason i have a hate relationship with my blog currently. so i have not been reading others but maybe once a week. i do love your blog, rae!!!!

HEY!!! I comment! Lately I've been commenting my butt off, to the point of thinking you must be sick of me. But oh, how I love comments too. I can't get enough to satisfy my need for them. So sad.

I was thinking that I would like to see more pictures of your life. No new pictures on facebook, no new pictures on here.... sigh. Why not go around your house and take pictures of every room. I ask you to do this, but would never do it myself. ACK! The horror! It would be fun, and just think of the comments you would receive!

I'll do it if you do it! (then you could see the sad state of my bedroom. That alone would be worth it.)

BAH! You weren't supposed to agree to it! Oh my, time to clean my house! Hehehe!

Well, I just got word that your mom is on her way to Canada and she never got to me what she wanted me to take to Portland, so I guess I won't be meeting your family over there. Too bad, I was kind of looking forward to it. Oh well.

oooOOOoooh, you are tough! NOOOO cleaning? Just try to stop me! Hahaha! Can I at least pick up the laundry? There are some things that just shouldn't be seen.

Rachel... I know you understand how I really don't want to leave a comment when someone tells me to!

I'm still one of your readers...though I don't comment. I loved the stories about the birds and your kids. They crack me up...but my comments aren't that great...so I don't comment...but I still read your blog :) Thanks for still writing it!
