i went to the bookstore today to get kyra a book for the plane. i
cannot believe the books they are selling to girls kyra's age. one of the quotes on the front of one was, "sexy and completely seductive... it will make your every sense tingle!"

Really?!? What happened to books like "A Wrinkle in Time" and "The Giver"? What happened to our writers??? That makes me sad.

I'm suddenly finding that prank of reshelfing books in odd places not so funny. It's almost like the books in my local blockbuster, all at 5 year old height, nevermind one is primarily nude hollywood scenes...it was right behind Dora. :\
