i was just driving home from blockbuster with our 'date night' movie, when i noticed a happy trend... multi-colored christmas lights! almost all the houses on our street with lights out have long strings of brightly colored lights out, making the neighborhood look so festive! i whole heartedly support the fun light trend - yes, the white is peaceful & timeless, but sometimes, as my friend heather says, you just have to put the "k" back in klassy!

Jumbo colorful lights have always made me happier than little white ones. Probably because my mom judged them tacky and they were forbidden fruit...
I destroyed any hope for classy at our home last night by hanging giant color ceramic lights around the large window on the front of our house. Guess our neighbors will just have to get over it. Klassy is in this year.

Hey - I said the same thing to Steve... I am so tired of the 90's white lights - very much embracing gaudy, tawdry, overdone, big ceramic soft fuzzy lights of all colors.
Hahaha.
When I grow up- I shall have the Klassiest house on the street!!
