Good news, bad news...

hooray! it's honeysuckle season! the intoxicating smell is drifting everywhere along the paths i walk with bella the dog, and sometimes i have to stop and sniff the air. i love it.

ack! apparently, while pulling up some of the vine to put in my little vase here in the living room, i left myself open to a tick attack! fortunately, curtis found it, and there was a nurse here (as a friend, not a healthcare professional) who calmly rescued me. but what if i get a horrible, tick borne disease! poo! i hate ticks!

I LOVE HONEYSUCKLE! If you pull the bottom off the flowers there is a drip of pollen/honey that you can eat. My brother and I used to sit outside all summer eating honeysuckle! As for the tick, I had one stuck in my back and I yanked it out. . . it freaked me out! But I am sure you will survive!

honeysuckle will always remind me of you...and that you are particular with the lotion of that smell. I agree with the tick angst. I hate ticks! boo!

Yay! Honeysuckle!! My friend just bought me some honeysuckle moisturizing hand lotion for an early mom's day gift so I can smell it all day! :0)
Happy tick hunting...ick
